How to measure

  1. A · Chest width — straight across, 1 inch below the armpits.
  2. B · Body length — from the highest point of the shoulder (next to the collar) down to the hem.
  3. C · Sleeve (long sleeves & fleece) — from the center of the back collar, over the shoulder, to the cuff.

Easiest way: lay their favorite tee flat on a table, measure A and B, and pick the size with the closest numbers.

Care instructions

  • Turn inside out before washing
  • Machine wash cold with like colors, mild detergent
  • Tumble dry low or hang dry — cotton can shrink a little in a hot dryer
  • Do not iron on the print; iron inside out on low if needed
  • No bleach, no fabric softener on the print, no dry cleaning

How long can the name be?

Up to 12 characters, including spaces, hyphens and periods. Longer names print smaller in the red zone so they fit. The ribbon stays easy to read, and the Close-up view in the preview lets you check the spelling in both places.

Do I have to add a year?

Only for the lines that end in a year, like Counting It In Since 1987. If you do not want a year, choose your band’s name and leave the year empty, or choose No bottom line.

Can I put my band’s name on it?

Yes. Choose My band’s name as the bottom line and type up to 22 characters. It prints as Your Band Since 1999, or just your band’s name with no year. Please use your own band’s name; we cannot print brand names, song titles or famous bands.

What is the volume option?

It changes the headline to The Volume Is Whatever Lisa Says It Is and the dial to Mute, Low, Medium, Loud and Max. It also adds one more bottom line: Keeping Him Quiet Since.

Which shirt color works best?

Dark shirts show the cream drum at its boldest. On white and light shirts the design prints in black and red, and the drum face takes the color of the shirt. The preview changes with the color you pick.
